Where to start?
I had convinced myself that I was going to write a blog every day for 2014. Here we are on day 4...blog #1. Looks like I'm going to post until January 4, 2015. That's okay though, right? Its still 365 days.
Now, I'm not going to promise you that I'll have some thoughtful thing to say every day. But I''m going to try to post every single day.
So there is my explanation for my blog for the next year.
Now... about my holidays.
Thanksgiving was nice. I went to my boyfriends moms in the morning my parents in the afternoon then the next day my boyfriends dads family.
Christmas.
On Christmas eve we exchanged gifts with my boyfriends dad and had breakfast. Then we went to my boyfriends maternal uncles house with his mom for the remainder of the night.
Christmas day, we went to his moms for breakfast and stockings and gifts. About 11 or 12 we went to my parents house and did gifts and stockings also and then had "dinner". Holidays are probably the only days of the year that we eat dinner at 3 or 4 in the afternoon. That would be why I called it "Dinner". After my parents house we went back to his moms and hung out/watched a movie. Then we went home to rest for the night. Our Christmas felt so rushed and busy, it was insane.
The day after Christmas we went to my boyfriends paternal uncle's house and had dinner and hung out with family for like 6 hours. We then invited his cousins back to the house for some guitar hero. Woot Woot.
New Years.
On new years eve we invited some of Zach's cousins over for Guitar Hero, pizza, chicken wings and other junk foods. So we all welcomed the new year together. I was trying to upload a photo we took at midnight but blogger is acting funny and it wont let me.
On new years day we went to my brothers house and had dinner with my parents. Its tradition in my family to welcome the new year together with dinner on January 1st. We usually have black eyed peas, cabbage and ham for health, wealth, and luck. I don't remember which is which....I just know I only ever eat the ham!
Thats it for today. I'm barely going to to make my "deadline"!
